New Slide

- Need a slide to explain what the product is being a game. Just need details about the gameplay, what's it's called and general information about it. Here's the slide I made below:

- I made the slide, with details about the product and what it is.

Album Cover Rework

- The album cover's colours work well, however, can take out small details like planets and other parts that make the cover noisy.

- I made another version of my album cover. I took out the planets which do free up the album cover. It feels a bit easier on the eyes. I also added a few dark patches to the background as well for the same reasons as before. However, I did add a slight pink glow over the stars. I felt this match with the colours of the logo and added a little more to the album cover without being too overpowering. I also changed the font and colours of the bottom text where it says 'Original Game Soundtrack' and 'Music by...' I took away all the overlays of colour so it's easier to read and so it looks cleaner.

Poster Rework

- The poster's text and title's colours are a bit too bright and don't blend with the background covering the visibility of the text.

- The original poster is the one on the far left. I first played around with moving the text. I tried putting the title at the top of the poster and tried shifting it slightly about, however, in the end, I left the title where it was on the original poster but made it a little larger. I then moved the subtitles to the top as they were the hardest to read. I also changed the background so the text would be easier to read. I then changed the colours of the title and the logo to blend the orange and pink colours more together. And finally, I added a reflection to the space helmets screen. I feel like this makes it seem more like the character is in the suit however it can obscure the logo, and having no reflection is darker and more luxurious. So far I'm not sure which one would look better.

- I asked my peers about what they thought of my two posters so far and they agreed that it looks better with the reflection. They said it made it look more correct as if the character is in the suit. So far, this is my poster's design

Controller Rework

- Don't have text on the Xbox controller. Need to add a console bundle to the controller.

- I had two designs for the final controller, one with and one without text. I made sure the one with text wasn't on my presentation as one of my final designs. But I've still got it to show that I tried it out.

- I then moved onto making a console bundle. This gives the buyer/player a reason to buy the controller other than just to collect it and because they like the design. It also means you can play the game the controller is based on. For advertising, I went with either having the name of the game on the advert or not. In the end, I thought having the name was good because it adds more to the advert but mostly lets the user know what the bundles for quickly.

Copyright

- I need to show I have copyright usages on other images I used or how they're copyright free.

- I talked about how when I searched for photos and background images, I searched using filters to specifically find copyright free images.

- I also went through my slides to make sure there were no spelling mistakes. There were a couple, but not that noticeable, but I quickly sorted them out.

Poster Rework

- The title was positioned in a way that made it seem not as important. It wasn't the main and first thing that was seen.

- I moved the title to the top and moved other components down to make the title clearer and more in view.

Console Bundle Rework

- Just needed some more information in what the buyer will be getting with the console bundle.

- I added in some information about what the console bundle would include and some extra benefits for getting the bundle.

Album Cover Rework

- The album cover needed to be clearer on the fact it was a digital album cover, as it has no back.

- I changed my presentation to explain the digital album cover

Poster Rework

- The poster needed to show what console the game would be playable on.

- I added an Xbox logo and some extra details/info about the game. I then changed the slides to show both versions of the poster. I decided to use one for advertisement and another for merchandise.

- And I need to add the launch date for the designs, which I then did on P5.

Rationale

- I chose my designs as they are sharp and vexing. The colours stand out and things like the logo being glitched have a feeling of fast-paced action. For the other target audience, the achiever gamers, I wanted the artwork to still have that bit of action, but more to the designs, to make it feel like they're adding to a collection. It makes them feel more connected to the game. I also used lighter and colours like the controller.

-  For the Competitive gamers, I tried to make my designs vibrant, cool and intense. My designs have a good mix of dark and bright colours. The design itself is a mix of retro and modern game design. Personally, the character looks cool and has an intense glare. Also, the fact the character is represented using an emblem/logo shows the character has an identity and has a cool personality.

 - For the Achiever Gamer Target Audience, I wanted to reference the game as much as possible and have a simple design. The logo I’m using is of the character’s face. If a player is fully devoted to the game they will know the main character well.
